I will miss knowing that Gene is in the world. He was my mentor and friend for many years. At age 13, I was his accompanist for the Soldiers Chorus at Ft. Sill, OK, and was the recipient of a full music scholarship at both Cameron and Midwestern, due to Gene's influence. Many memories of a caring, extraordinary man who was always my friend and supporter through thick and thin. My deepest and sincerest sympathy to Nancy and Steven - I wish we had met...Karen
