Sweet Adeline rock star
I just learned that Neyla Pekarek of the indie art-folk band The Lumineers was (is) a Sweet Adeline singer whose quartet Vogue won the organization’s Rising Star competition in 2009. The Lumineers just performed at the Grammys, have a number 1 hit and are currently on a sold out world tour. Keep singing ladies you never know where it may take you.
